Admission Process
There are various colleges in India that offer PhD in Animal Science courses for the students who aspire to learn and serve their career to the animals. Eligibility Criteria
The candidates have to successfully meet the following eligibility criteria to get eligible for PhD in Animal Science.
The aspiring candidates have to go through departmental entrance examinations conducted by the various colleges and the universities. However, the candidates who have completed entrance examinations like ICMR, ICAR, CSIR, DBT, GATE, GPAT, and NET can directly apply for the course bypassing the written test.
GATE – It is a national level examination which solely helps the students to get admission in different IITs or NITs in India. The examination is taken through computer-based online mode. The total marks of the exam are 100.
GPAT – Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test is a national level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The examination is taken through computer-based online mode. The duration of the examination is 3 hours and the students have to answer 125 MCQs.
