Medical Image Technology

The Medical Image Technology program is a 2-year associate's degree that prepares students to operate and look after modern medical imaging equipment. The curriculum includes radiographic concepts, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, and picture archiving and communication methods. Students do clinical rotations in hospital radiology departments and outpatient imaging clinics, so they receive practical experience performing diagnostic scans and managing digital image workflows. Graduates have the skills to work as radiologic technologists, CT/MRI techs, and PACS managers in a wide range of healthcare settings. The Medical Image Technology program teaches students the technical skills and medical knowledge essential to create high-quality images that aid in accurate diagnosis and effective patient care.
