Research is the main focus of a Ph.D. in Sustainable Engineering, which normally take 4-6 years to finish. The curriculum prepares students to create original answers to challenging energy and environmental issues. Environmental policy, sustainable materials, environmentally conscious design, and renewable energy systems are some of the subjects covered in the coursework. Additionally, students finish a PhD dissertation and carry out original research that significantly advances the subject of sustainable engineering.
