B.Tech. in Geoinformatics

B.Tech. in Geoinformatics is a 4-year undergraduate program that combines the fields of geospatial technology, information systems, and data analysis. The course focuses on the study of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), remote sensing, global positioning systems (GPS), spatial data analysis, and geospatial modeling. Students learn to collect, analyze, and interpret geospatial data for applications in urban planning, environmental monitoring, disaster management, agriculture, and natural resource management. The program includes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills, with hands-on training in using GIS software and satellite imaging tools. Students are also exposed to data visualization and mapping techniques. Upon graduation, students can pursue careers in geospatial data analysis, environmental consultancy, urban planning, government agencies, and industries related to geoinformatics and remote sensing.
