B.A.M.S. in Ayurvedacharya

 Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (B.A.M.S.) is a 5.5 year undergraduate program that trains students in the ancient system of Ayurveda, which focuses on holistic health and natural healing methods. The course combines theoretical knowledge with practical experience, covering subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, Ayurvedic pathology, and various healing techniques, including Panchakarma and herbal medicine. In addition to classroom learning, students engage in clinical training, where they diagnose and treat patients under expert supervision. The program emphasizes a deep understanding of the principles of Ayurveda, along with modern medical science, equipping graduates to practice as Ayurvedic doctors. Upon completion, B.A.M.S. holders are eligible to pursue careers in hospitals, clinics, wellness centers, or research, with opportunities for higher education in Ayurveda or related fields.
