Bachelor of Science in Forestry is a four-year undergraduate program divided into 8 semesters. BSc Forestry is available in specializations like Dendrology, Forest ecology, General forest microbiology, and Forest Management. BSc Forestry trains students in the management of plantations, various cash crops, sanctuaries, botanical gardens and forests.

BSc Forestry eligibility criteria requires a candidate to have a class 12th or equivalent diploma from a recognised board and a minimum aggregate of 50% in the qualifying examination.

BSc Forestry Admission Process

  • Direct Admission: In this mode, candidates need to fill out the application forms available both online and offline. They need to fill the details with 100% accuracy and the necessary documents required. Candidates will get shortlisted on the basis of 10+2 score.
  • Entrance Based Admission: Few of colleges and universities offer this course on the basis of college and university level entrance exams followed by PI and GD rounds. Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of cutoff marks.
