AURO University, Surat has been established under the Gujarat Private University Act, 2009. AURO University founded by the Rama family based in the USA, is inspired by the Vision and teachings of Sri Aurobindo and the Divine Mother. AU’s Vision is to be a premier University of Integral and Transformational Learning for Future Leaders.

We have established 07 Schools viz., School of Business, School of Design, School of Hospitality Management, School of Information Technology, School of Law, School of Liberal Arts & Human Sciences, and School of Journalism & Mass Communications.

AURO University has been Established Under the Gujarat State Private Universities Act, 2009, as well as U/S 2(F), 22 of the UGC Act, 1956, and Regulations, 2003 and is grounded in values and is dedicated to the full or integral development of students and indeed of the whole community. In line with the Vision of AU, and also in line with expectations of the Gujarat Private University Act, University Grants Commissions (UGC), National Assessment And Accreditation Council (NAAC), and Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Sports infrastructure of an international level has been created as a part of Physical Education.

The University’s sports facilities include a Cricket Ground, Basketball Ground, Volleyball, Football Ground, and other open spaces for various student activities, convocation, and other cultural and recreation activities. AU has set up various indoor sports facilities (Carom, Table Tennis, Chess, Pool, Snooker, etc.) and a well-equipped Gymnasium-Cum-Fitness Center.

AU also has a Meditation Room, Smart Classrooms, Computer Laboratories, a Language Laboratory, a Media Laboratory, a Design Studio, Workshops for Fine Arts, a Student Activity Center, and an Exhibition Room on the life of Sri Aurobindo. AURO University of Hospitality and Management has built the most modern Boys’ And Girls’ Hostels with wide open spaces for various extra-curricular activities: a Hi-Tech Automated Library and high-speed Wi-Fi Connectivity across the Campus of the University and also has established various Centers in the area of Arts & Creativity, Language Learning, Rural Management, Innovation & Incubation & Entrepreneurship, Family Business, and Legal Aid Clinic.
