Vice Chancellor Message

Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Bawa is currently Vice Chancellor of Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda. She is distinguished academician, researcher and administrator. She graduated from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana and did Master and doctorate in Education from GNDU, Amritsar. She formally worked in Central University of Punjab, Bathinda and at Punjabi University Patiala, besides working on Deputation basis in Lovely Professional University, Punjab for six years. She has blend of rich academic and administrative experience of central, state and private universities. She has a wide exposure of functioning of the university being actively contributing in the curriculum designing, updating pedagogical techniques, policy framing and also instrumental in bringing quality in education system at Central University of Punjab, Bathinda as IQAC Director. She initiated development of various cells in the university to work for quality in research and innovations. She worked as member of core committee of curriculum of NCTE and contributed in designing of curriculum for various programmes of different universities.
