Vice Chancellor Message

• I am privileged and honoured that destiny has given me this golden opportunity to lead Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

• I have joined as regular Vice Chancellor on 26th October 2018 with a specific vision of developing Kamdhenu University into a full-fledged one with all the three faculties - Veterinary, Dairy and Fisheries flourishing under its umbrella. It is known that Animal Husbandry Sector along with Fisheries always alleviated farmers from agrarian crises. With a clarion call from our Hon'ble Prime Minister to "Double Farmer's Income by 2022", it is my moral responsibility to envisage concrete steps for sustainable development and inclusiveness in domains of Veterinary, Dairy and Fisheries.

• We wish to develop and nurture the ecosystem for our stakeholders - students, teachers and farmers to flourish and contribute in all spheres of farm to fork chain. I wish to provide optimized and vibrant platform for knowledge enhancement, need based research and congenial environs for focussed skill development of farmers. Our students will be future global professionals with relevant entrepreneurial skills on foundation of ethics and values, so that they may become job givers rather than job seekers.

• Our Campuses at Himatnagar and Amreli, are buzzing with activities and will be initiating work on the sustainable Campus for Headquarters.

• We strive to bring smile on the faces of students, farmers, teachers, entrepreneurs and stakeholders for holistic growth of this University.
